Clouds of yellow, yesterday was yellow too, Everything that’s left behind is beautiful, In the seed and in the bud will always be the perfect love, unknown, I loved you from horizon to horizon, In lowlands underneath a big blue sky, And if it rained, if it was grey, we let it wash the hours away, For you, I will sing, Lay your head on my shoulder, Count the stars in the sky, While I hold you, As I love you, Let big American aeroplanes go by, I remember somewhere in a car with you, An angel low and sudden came - the sound was cruel, And shook us from our lovers’ thrill, To feel the cold chill - aeroplane of love, Her song, And if there may be oceans in between us blue, Still hear the words we whispered for our own love, true, Where little pearls of wisdom fall into our arms - we catch them all, Lay your head on my shoulder, Count the stars in the sky, While I hold you, As I love you, Let big American aeroplanes go by, Clouds of red and yellow in the eastern sky, The tears you bring for me now sting in other eyes, And all the broken skin and bone is buried in the undertones of love, So float like a sailboat, wind-blown and summer-soaked, Smoke sting your baby eyes of blue, About you in the heavens ring, the song of stars and seraphim, Lay your head on my shoulder, Count the stars in the sky, While I hold you, As I love you, Let big American aeroplanes go by,

I don’t believe in your beautiful things, I don’t believe in your beautiful things, I will let the hour ring, I will bang upon my drum, I will let the river run, I don’t believe in the sugars you shake, I don’t believe in the sugars you shake, I will let the storm cloud break, I will let the kingdom come, I will let the river run, Just kick off your shoes and let your hair go wild, Let the glue that holds your jeans together run, sweet honey child, You’ve been taken out, Your dreams are rusted in your mouth, And your children ‘r’ singing the blues, I don’t believe in your beautiful things, I don’t believe in your beautiful things, I will let the kingdom come, I will bang upon my drum, I will let the river run,

Seahouse 04:16
Little blue eyes - little white fingers of fun, Little brown eyes - fingertips from everyone, What does she mean when flowers come? What does she mean when rivers run? Where do we see her open mouth? When we look out from our Seahouse, Here’s a season, Come and do the club upon, Some who live here, Where there’s fish for everyone, What does she mean when broken signs? What does she mean unspoken times? Where do we see both north and south? When we look out from our Seahouse, So who let me run, So far away from? Every creation relies on relation to one, Little pieces, all around the Earth has spun, O’er the oceans, far away and misbecome, What does she mean when moon and sun? What does she mean when radios hum? When you see her open mouth? When we look out from our Seahouse,

about

On a cool, late September evening in 1995, The Truckskinners’ fitful careering down the wild tracks of beautiful dreams, came freewheeling and heedless, clutch to the floor, fuel yet half spent, into the waist high bracken of a choked, East Anglian wayside. The distant perimeter lights of USAF Lakenheath played daintily across the pale green, heat-ticking, paintwork above a stilled engine.

Thrown from the cab then and lost until, when scratched up from beneath a thin layer of dusty sand and shale by inquisitive birds, The Truckskinners’ lost bones are here given fitting reinterment.

Full of energy, invention and wistful lyricism, these four tracks catch the band on the cusp of a shining moment that somehow slipped their hesitating grasp.

Or something.
